# Is TikTok Down Right Now? Free Live Status Check

Page: https://famoid.com/is-tiktok-down/

TikTok not working? This free tool checks it for you. It tests TikTok from two places at once. One test runs from Famoid's servers. The other runs from your own connection. You get an answer in seconds. No login. No username. Nothing is stored.

## What the checker tells you

- **TikTok is up.** Both tests passed. If the app still fails, the problem is on your side. Use the fixes below.
- **TikTok is down.** Our servers could not reach TikTok. Other people have the same problem. Wait it out.
- **Only your test failed.** Your network, VPN or an ad-blocker is in the way. TikTok itself is fine.

The page also shows a 24-hour chart. It comes from our own monitor. The monitor checks TikTok every three minutes. You can see if a problem is new or has been going on for hours.

## Outage history

Below the chart there is a day-by-day history. For each day you can see how many checks ran, the uptime, and any outage windows we found. Times are in UTC. The history is written by our monitor, not by hand.

## Is TikTok down, or is it just me?

Do these in order:

1. Run the live check at the top of the page.
2. Turn Wi-Fi off and try mobile data. Or the other way around.
3. Open tiktok.com in a private browser tab. If the website works but the app does not, the app is the problem.
4. Ask a friend on a different network.
5. Check X (Twitter). During a real outage, many people post about it within minutes.

## Signs that TikTok is really down

- "No network connection" on every account and every network
- Videos will not load, but profiles and comments still work
- Uploads stay stuck on "Posting"
- Likes, views or follower numbers freeze or jump
- A login loop with the right password

## TikTok is up but not working for you? Try these fixes

1. Close the app all the way and open it again.
2. Turn airplane mode on for ten seconds, then off.
3. Update the app.
4. Clear the cache. In TikTok: Profile → Settings and privacy → Free up space → Clear cache.
5. Turn off your VPN. TikTok blocks some VPN addresses.
6. Restart your phone.
7. If TikTok works on mobile data but never on one Wi-Fi, that network blocks it.

## Why does TikTok say "No network connection" when my internet works?

That message is TikTok's catch-all error. It shows up for many reasons: a real outage, a network that blocks TikTok, a VPN, or a broken app cache. It does not always mean your internet is down.

## Why won't videos load while the rest of the app works?

Videos come from a different set of servers than comments and profiles. If those video servers have a problem, videos stall but the rest keeps working. These partial outages usually fix themselves in a few hours.

## Are my drafts, followers and views safe during an outage?

Followers and views are safe. Frozen numbers are a display bug. They come back after TikTok recovers. Drafts are different. Drafts live only on your phone. Do not delete or reinstall the app while you fix things, or you lose them.

## Does TikTok have an official status page?

No. TikTok does not run a public status page for users. That is why tools like this one exist. The @TikTokSupport account on X posts during big incidents.
