# How to See Who Viewed Your Instagram Profile Page: https://famoid.com/how-to-see-who-viewed-your-instagram-profile/ You can't. Instagram does not show who viewed your profile, and no app can add that list. You can see story viewers, Live viewers and a profile visit count. ## The short answer You cannot see who viewed your Instagram profile. Instagram does not keep a visitor list for any account type. No setting turns one on, and no outside app can get it. What you can see is who watched your story, who is in your Live, and a profile visit count in Insights. ## What Instagram shows and what it hides Instagram's help pages describe every view metric the app has. None of them names profile visitors. The steps come from Instagram's [story viewers page](https://help.instagram.com/202055156863605). 1. Open your story. 2. Swipe up on the screen. 3. You see the number of views and the usernames of everyone who watched each photo or video. Only you can see this list. A few details help you read it: - The list stays open for **48 hours** after you post. - After 24 hours, go to your profile, tap **Menu**, then **Archive**. When you go live, the viewer count sits at the top of the screen. Instagram also warns viewers that the host and other viewers may see that they joined. After the Live ends, Insights keep the numbers for 30 days. You get viewers, peak viewers at one time, comments, shares and accounts engaged. Again, these are counts. There is no saved list of every name. One rule to know: Instagram's help page says you need a public account with 1,000 followers or more to start a Live. ## Why "profile viewer" apps do not work Instagram does not share visitor data with any app or website.
