Step 1: Open the Instagram app on your mobile device 

Step 2: Now open a reel with music you’d like to save for the future. 

Step 3: At the bottom of the reel video, you will notice the title of the song. Tap on the title. 

Step 4: The Audio page will appear on your screen. On that page, tap on the Save Audio button. 

That’s it! Your music will be saved on the app. You can access it whenever you want by visiting the Saved folder on Instagram settings. 

There’s another method you can try to save music on Instagram. But, to make this method work, first, you have to know or identify the music you want to save. Then, follow the steps below: 

• Type the music or audio name on Instagram’s search bar. 
• On the search results page, tap on the Audio option located right under the search bar.

There’s no direct way to add saved music or songs to your Instagram Story. You have to save the music from your favorite reel, then remember the music title and later use it while creating the story.

Step 2: Tap on the music title, which you can find at the bottom of the reel.

Step 1: Go to your Instagram profile and tap the + icon on the top of your screen. 

Step 2: Tap the Reel option.

Step 4: Now tap on the Saved button. 

Step 5: Search and select the music you wish to add to your reel from the saved audio & music section.
