# Best Time to Post on TikTok

Page: https://famoid.com/best-time-to-post-on-tiktok/

The best time to post on TikTok is when your followers are online, which for most accounts means late morning and 7 to 10 pm. Your own Analytics tell you the exact hour.

## The quick answer

Post when your followers are on the app. For most accounts, that means two windows in their local time zone:

- **Late morning, 10 am to noon.** School breaks and early lunches.
- **Evening, 7 to 10 pm.** The longest scroll sessions of the day.

Early afternoon is slower. Late night works only if your audience is young or in another time zone.

One honest note. The "best time" charts you see online disagree with each other. They are built from different accounts in different countries. Your own Analytics beat any chart. We show you where to look below.

## Best time to post on TikTok by day

Use these as a starting point. Adjust after two weeks of checking your Analytics.

- **Monday:** 10 am to noon. A slow morning, then a steady lunch.
- **Tuesday:** 9 am and again at 7 pm. One of the best days overall.
- **Wednesday:** 7 to 9 pm. Evenings are strong midweek.
- **Thursday:** 7 to 10 pm. Often the busiest evening of the week.
- **Friday:** 5 to 8 pm. People wind down early and scroll longer.
- **Saturday:** 11 am to 1 pm. Late morning beats early morning.
- **Sunday:** 7 to 9 pm. The quietest day. Evening is your best shot.

## How to find your best time in TikTok Analytics

TikTok shows you when your own followers are active. You need a Business or Creator account, and Analytics may take a few days to fill in after you switch.

1. Open your profile and tap the **menu** in the top right.
2. Tap **Creator tools**, then **Analytics**.
3. Open the **Followers** tab.
4. Scroll to **Most active times**.

You will see a chart by hour and by day. Post about an hour before the peak. That gives TikTok time to run its first test while the crowd is arriving.

The [TikTok Creator Portal](https://www.tiktok.com/creators/creator-portal/en-us/) explains each part of Analytics in more detail.

## Why the first hour matters

TikTok does not show your video to all your followers at once. It shows it to a small group first. It watches how long they stay, whether they like it, and whether they share it. If those numbers are good, the video goes to a bigger group. Then a bigger one.

Your followers are part of that first group. If they are asleep, the test is weaker. If they are awake and scrolling, the test is stronger. That is why posting time matters more on TikTok than on most apps.

From the orders we run, we see this often. The same creator can post two similar videos, one at 2 pm and one at 8 pm, and the 8 pm video gets far more watch time in its first hour. The content did not change. The audience did.

## Mind the time zone

Analytics show times in your phone's time zone. The **Followers** tab also shows your **Top territories**. If a large share of your followers live abroad, shift your posting times to match their clock, not yours.

## Posting more than once a day

Many creators post one to three times a day. Space the videos a few hours apart. Each one then gets its own test group. Two videos posted back to back compete with each other.

## Timing is not everything

A strong hook in the first two seconds beats a perfect posting hour. So does a trending sound used early. Time of day is a multiplier on a good video. It will not save a weak one. ## Quick answers

**When is the best time to post on TikTok?**

For most accounts, 10 am to noon and 7 to 10 pm in your followers' time zone. Check Analytics under Followers to see your own most active times.

**What is the best day to post on TikTok?**

Tuesday through Thursday tend to perform best. Friday evening is also strong. Sunday is usually the weakest day.

**Is it better to post on TikTok in the morning or at night?**

Evening, for most accounts. TikTok sessions are longest after dinner. Morning posts still work if your followers are in a different time zone.

**Does the time you post on TikTok matter?**

Yes. TikTok shows a new video to a small test group first. If that group is awake and engaged, the video spreads. A good video at a dead hour gets a weaker test.

**How many times a day should I post on TikTok?**

One to three times a day is a good pace. Space them out by a few hours so each video gets its own test audience.
